Custom Charges & Fees for Non-EU Orders
IMPORT DUTY / CUSTOM CHARGES
If you are placing an order for delivery outside the European Union (EU), please be aware that your shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees levied by your country’s customs authorities. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Important Notes:
- Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please check with your local customs office for further information
- We are legally required to declare the full value of the goods on all packages and cannot mark items as gifts.
- Any delays caused by customs clearance are beyond our control.
-
For shipments to the United States, An Post (Ireland’s national postal service) will contact you directly for all charges due. These must be settled before your parcel is dispatched to the US.
By placing an international order, you agree to accept these potential charges and understand that we cannot refund orders returned to us due to unpaid customs duties.
When ordering from us (in Ireland) to a country outside of the EU (European Union), your package may be subject to customs duties, taxes and handling fees.
These charges vary by country and are determined by local customs authorities.
Below is a general guideline:
- Customs Duties: Typically range from 0–30% of the item's value, depending on the product category.
- VAT/Sales Tax: Some countries apply their local VAT or sales tax, usually between 5–20%.
- Handling Fees: Postal services or couriers may charge a processing fee, usually €5–€20.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are payable upon delivery.
We recommend checking with your local customs office for exact rates before placing your order.
